Presented by Great Southern Nights, this year’s edition marks a deliberate reboot for Groovin The Moo 2026.

Mayor Steve Krieg describes the event as a defining moment for the city’s recovery. By hosting such a prestigious national event, Lismore reaffirms its status as a cultural hub. The community spirit remains at the core of the festival’s return. Additionally, $2 from every ticket sold supports the “Our Kids” charity, helping local families in need.

The newly announced lineup balances international star power with homegrown legends. US hip-hop heavyweight Denzel Curry leads the charge. Groovin The Moo 2026 is an all ages event running from 11 am to 10 pm. Tickets go on sale to the general public at 12 pm AEDT on Tuesday, 3 March. Lismore residents (postcode 2480) receive early access via the “Homegrown Groovers” presale starting at 9 am the same day.
General Admission tickets start at $125 plus booking fees. If you want a premium experience, the “Cream Of The Crop” VIP tickets offer grandstand seating and private amenities for $190. For the first time, organisers are offering two night camping passes for Friday and Saturday nights. This allows fans to settle in and enjoy the full Northern Rivers experience without the rush.
