On Saturday, 20 June 2026, the historic Clarence Corner precinct will transform into a sprawling multi stage playground. Against The Grain 2026 expands the festival experience beyond the stage. The Natural Steps crew will reimagine the Echo & Bounce car park as an open-air dance floor, featuring sets from top-tier selectors like Squidgenini and Sacha Alexiou. Visual artist Madeline Holt will provide curated installations to ensure a full sensory immersion.
As the sun sets, the energy shifts to The Princess Theatre for the official afterparty. Curated by Milo Eastwood, the late-night session features deep rhythmic blends from JNETT and Adriana. With one ticket granting access to over 30 performances across five stages, this block party redefines the urban festival format in Meanjin.
