American indie rock band Interpol will join forces with British indie rock band Bloc Party 2023 for a coheadline tour up the east coast of Australia in November. Both bands were here back in 2019 playing separately around the country. They have crossed paths several times during their careers. As a result, this will be the first time to see Interpol and Bloc Party 2023 together in a coheadline show in Australia. The tour begins in Naarm / Melbourne on November 16. Then, Eora Sydney on the 18th, ad finally in Meanjin / Brisbane on the 22nd. Update: New show added to Sydney at Hordern Pavilion on 19 November.
UPDATE: Headline shows for Bloc Party (without Interpol) are set for Perth, Adelaide, and Hobart in November. See below for all the dates. Tickets on sale July 27 at 9am and are around $90. There are also bus tickets available for the Perth show for $30.
Only three shows in total, however there is room for more shows if they sell out quick, but no guarantees so get in early. Tickets go on sale to the general public on July 7 at 9am AEST and are around $130. MyTicketek and Destroy All Lines members get access from July 5.
